FAMILY REIMBURSEMENT:
WHAT IS IT AND HOW DO I GET IT?

Families of children and adults with developmental disabilities do you know there may be financial reimbursement available to you to assist in the purchase of goods or services as it relates to your family member with a developmental disability.

If you have an expense related to a developmental disability and you need some assistance with it, ask our advocates how you can access help.

These programs are administered locally by the Central New York Developmental Disabilities Office and the Resource Center for Independent Living and can help with such things as diapers, special equipment, clothing, travel expenses, etc. as long as the request is related to the developmental disability.

This is an option for goods and services that can't be paid for by other sources. Below is the link to view these guidelines.
