FAC thanks the Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties

The Family Advocacy Center extends its appreciation to the Community Foundation for awarding us with a grant for $7,000 to assist in the purchase of a new computer system for our office. This new system will modernize the manner in which we calculate our data, assist us in collecting new and important information for our families and helping us to pass that information on to those who would benefit.

The Community Foundation has always been an effective force for improving lives and inspiring philanthropy throughout our region since 1952. This foundation fulfills its mission by identifying and prioritizing community needs; building and preserving a pool of charitable capital; raising the capacity of nonprofit organizations to deliver services; promoting a sense of regionalism and shared responsibility for community improvement as well as helping donors reach their goals by connecting them with charitable needs and opportunities. Thank you Community Foundation and all of those who provide the unrestricted funds to make such things possible.
